Can I bring my Dog?
Yes – and it is free for them to get in! Why not enter our Dog Show – entries on the day? Water stations are available on the Showground for you to provide fresh water to your dog.
Family Suitability
The day is suitable for the whole family – whatever their age. There is plenty to see and do from the Food and Craft Hall to the Tradestands for some shopping or some sheep shearing or falconry to keep you entertained. Why not visit our Pet’s Corner to meet the animals up close or watch our livestock competitions.
What dime does the Show Start?
The Show is officially opened by the President at 9.15am. The gates are open to the public from 8am. The Show continues from the day through to the evening entertainment.
Is there anywhere for me to be able to sit down?
There is a Grandstand overlooking our main ring or there are benches situated around the other rings.
Are there lavatories?
There are lavatories situated around the Showground including facilities for the disabled and a baby changing unit.
Food & Drink
There are various food units in our Food Court or you could purchase something from our Food Hall or from the main caterers – a choice of burgers and chips to salad or sandwiches.
What facilities are there for disabled people?
We have allocated disabled parking adjacent to the main entrance for disabled visitors. Please note however that the Showfield is an agricultural field and therefore the surface may be uneven.
Car Parking
Parking is provided for free.
Public Transport
There is a Free Bus from Tesco Bus Stop, Cardigan at 10.30am and Finch Square, Cardigan at 10.35 every hour – return on the hour. last return bus 1.00am Sunday 4th August (after Show Dance)
